Aral is Our Life Tour

Tour: Aral Sea (6 days)

Day 1. Meeting at Nukus Airport, accommodations in Jipek Joli Hotel, supper in the hotel’s café.

Day 2. Breakfast, trip to Aral Sea via Nukus-Kungrad-Ustyurt Plateau-Kubla Ustyurt-Aral Sea route (500 km, 8 hours). Spend the night on the sea shore in tents.

Day 3. Depart for Muinak. Visit Ship Graveyard and Muinak Museum. Return to Nukus. Spend the night in Jipek Joli Hotel.
* optional visit to Muinak Canned Fish Factory (special permission from local authorities required).

Day 4. Nukus city tour. Visit I.V. Savitsky Museum, local history museum and local market place.

Day 5. Trip to Ayaz-Kala ancient city. The trip includes On the way to the city, the tour stops to visit Shylpuk dakhma, then boat trip on Amudarya River is arranged. After lunch, the trip is continued. Visit Toprak-Kala, Kyzyl-Kala and Aayz-Kala city cites. Spend the night in a yurt camp.

Day 6. Trip to Khiva. Accommodation in hotel. Khiva tour.

Wishing Well Tour (5 days)

Muinak – Savitsky Museum – Archeological sites (Mizdakhan – Gaur-Kala – Shylpyk – Toprak-Kala – Kyzyl-Kala – Ayaz-Kala – Guldursyn-Kala – Kyryk-Kyz-Kala – Zhambas-Kala – Koy-Kyrylgan-Kala – Khiva.

Day 1. Nukus city tour, including visit to Savitsky Museum. Lunch. Trip to Mizdakhan (XIV century) and Gaur-Kala (IV-III century BC) archeological sites. Return to Nukus. Spend the night in Jipek Joli Hotel.

Day 2. Departure to Muinak. Visit Ship Graveyard and Muinak Museum. Return to Nukus. Spend the night in Jipek Joli Hotel.

Day 3. Ancient city sites tour. Visit Shylpyk dakhma, Kyryk-Kyz-Kala (I-II century AD), Toprak-Kala (I-IV century AD), Ayaz-Kala (IV-III century BC). Spend the night in Ayaz-Kala yurt camp.

Day 4. Departure to Buston. Visit Buston Museum. Continue ancient city sites tour. Visit Guldursyn-Kala (XI-XIII century AD), Kyryk-Kyz-Kala (I century BC – V-VI century). Spend the night in Turtkul.

Day 5. Visit Zhambas-Kala fortress (IV century BC – I century AD) and Koi-Kyrylgan-Kala (IV century BC – IV century AD). Trip to Khiva. Spend the night at Aziya Khiva Hotel.

Silk Thread Tour (4 days)

Day 1. Nukus city tour, including visit to I.V. Savitsky museum. Lunch. Trip to Mizdakhan (XIV century) and Gaur-Kala (IV-III century BC) archeological sites. Return to Nukus. Spend the night at Jipek Joli Hotel.

Day 2. Departure for Muinak. Visit Ship Graveyard and Muinak Museum. Return to Nukus. Spend the night at Jipek Joli Hotel.

Day 3. Ancient city sites tour. Visit dakhma Shylpyk, Badai-Tugai National Reserve, Kyryk-Kyz-Kala (I-II century AD), Toprak-Kala (I-IV century AD) and Ayaz-Kala (IV-III century BC) ancient city sites. Spend the night in Ayaz-Kala yurt camp.

Day 4. Continue Ayaz-Kala tour. Departure for Khiva.
